Is it a rite of Spring or a right of Spring? On the Island, we celebrate Derby Day on the first Saturday of May. Every year, our friend Ted makes the mint juleps. He has special silver cups and matching silver straws with spoons on the end. He crafts his own mint-infused simple syrup. Carefully, he concocts the morning refresher with the best bourbon, shaved ice, and the minty-green syrup. Later on in the day there’s this horse race.

This limited edition soap is an homage to Derby Day. It’s carefully mixed with Kentucky bourbon, mint, sugar, and orange peel. We top each bar with a hand-poured mint soap leaf.
